Bay Leaves - Florocia

 

Bay leaves Bay leaf or most commonly known as Tez Patta is mostly used in Indian cuisine. These leaves, used as spices, have many medicinal properties. It comes from the Bay Laurel tree that has been grown for a long time in human history. There is a significant amount of anti-oxidant in bay leaves. The extracted oil from them can be used for culinary purposes or Ayurvedic medicine as well. Its aroma is similar to that of a combination of cloves and cinnamon, but it is very mild and delectable. Apart from this, bay leaves have many major minerals such as copper, potassium, calcium, manganese, selenium and iron. It is one of the most widely used herbs in cooking in Europe and North America.
