Pure Natural Acacia Honey is procured by the bees who forage on the flowers of the black locust tree found in the serene region of Kashmir valley. It is light in color and has a sweet, delicate flavour with hints of vanilla and light is texture and has no aftertaste as well. The fructose content in it is higher and hence it crystalizes slowly as compared to the traditional honeys.
Acacia Honey is also known as “locust honey” and is usually harvested in spring using the sustainable harvesting methods and that too for like 10-15 days only. The nectar flow is subject to weather conditions, so a tree may have honey one year and not again for 5 years and hence it is rare and more expensive than the normal honeys. The color of it depends on from where it is collected. It has antioxidant, antibacterial, antimicrobial and laxative properties.
